New Client Evaluation – Beginner Pitching Lesson
Designed specifically for athletes with little to no prior pitching experience, this evaluation builds the foundation the right way from day one.
Rather than focusing on velocity or spin metrics, this session assesses movement quality, coordination, arm mechanics, and overall readiness to begin structured pitching development. The goal is to establish efficient patterns early — before bad habits form.
During this session, athletes will receive:
• A foundational movement screen to assess balance, mobility, and lower-body control
• Introduction to basic lesson “language” so athletes understand common coaching cues and terminology
• Fastball grip instruction and understanding of spin direction
• Introduction to arm whip and proper release mechanics
• Arm circle progression to evaluate natural coordination and internal rotation
• Drive and lower-body sequencing assessment
• Introductory pitching drills to establish safe, repeatable mechanics
• A clear development roadmap outlining next steps and training priorities
This evaluation ensures athletes don’t just “start pitching” — they begin with a strong mechanical base, a clear understanding of foundational concepts, and the language needed to grow confidently in future lessons.
Every athlete leaves with clarity, direction, and a structured plan for development.
What’s Next?
After the New Client Evaluation, you’ll receive a detailed development plan built from your athlete’s mechanical breakdown and performance data. From there, families can choose the lesson format that best supports continued growth.
Once enrolled in recurring lessons, athletes receive:
• Access to all evaluation videos
• Access to all lesson videos moving forward
• The ability to upload game or practice footage for remote analysis and feedback
This structure ensures measurable progress and continued development beyond scheduled lesson time.
Private Lessons (1:1)
Private pitching lessons are one-on-one, hands-on sessions designed around each athlete’s individual mechanics, goals, and stage of development.
Each lesson includes:
• Personalized instruction tailored to the pitcher’s movement patterns and current focus areas
• Video analysis using the OnForm app for slow-motion breakdown and visual feedback
• One PitchLogic evaluation per month, providing objective data on spin rate, spin direction, velocity, and pitch movement
• Targeted drills and cueing to connect feel, mechanics, and results
These sessions are intentional and progressive — combining real-time coaching with measurable data to improve consistency and long-term performance.
Semi-Private Lessons (2:1)
Train alongside one other pitcher in a focused, high-level small group designed to maximize reps, feedback, and individualized development.
Each session blends technical mechanical breakdowns, mobility and activation work, and video analysis to improve efficiency, power, and consistency on the mound.
Athletes receive the same hands-on coaching and detailed instruction as a private lesson, with the added benefit of shared energy, competition, and accountability.
New Client Evaluation Comprehensive Pitching Assessment
The New Client Evaluation is a high-level, data-driven assessment designed to give a complete picture of your athlete’s current mechanics, ball movement profile, and performance potential.
This is not a typical lesson — it is a full diagnostic session that establishes measurable baselines and creates a clear development plan from day one.
What’s Included:
• PitchLogic Analysis Detailed breakdown of:
Spin rate
Spin direction
Spin efficiency
Vertical and horizontal ball movement
A full performance report with all collected data will be sent directly to your email following the session. This becomes the foundation for tracking measurable progress over time.
• Velocity Evaluation: Comprehensive speed testing to establish current performance baselines and identify potential growth opportunities.
• Full Video Analysis: Complete slow-motion mechanical breakdown analyzing:
Arm path and sequencing
Lower-half engagement and force production
Timing and body positioning
Release consistency
